The location in a cute area was absolutely perfect and lovely and there were boutiques and shops nearby. I ate at a clean restaurant for breakfast. I didn't feel like leaving, had a relaxing experience and would definitely come back.
Liked everything!

Hotel as a whole is charming little, I liked it.
The hotel is fairly clean, with amiable personal, and offers perfect and lovely location close enough to restaurants, SUP rental shop, boutiques and Tiki bar, shops, and Key Largo / Tavernier / Islamorada activities. Overall the room is modern, brand-new and includes a microwave oven, a refrigerator, iron and ironing board;)))

The owners (who also staff the receptionist desk) are pleasant and were quick to respond to guest requests. For example, a problem with our toilet was attended to immediately.
The housecleaning staff were less than thorough. The coffee pot wasn't washed once during our entire 3 day stay, nor was the shower cleaned. Also, some furnishings in the unit are broken and really need to be replaced, eg. the blinds on the front window and the very rickety round table next to this window. Meanwhile, the outside sitting area near the dock probably hasn't been cleaned in months.

Testing the pool was refreshing, but the check-in process was annoyingly slow.

The restroom was clean.
First, the hotel was impossible to find since the name Keys Lodge and Boat Docks doesn´t exist. No one knew the hotel by this name. Instead, you will find the name Keys Motel. When we arrive thereno one was there. It looked like an abandoned motel. The photos that are in bookings site are deceiving. You won´t find those rooms at all. In our room the sheet and the cover had holes. They don´t have internet.

The price was the main reason why we selected to stay there, location is also good and it was a really quiet place. The only comment I have to make is that they should have checked the room for dirty towels to be removed as they said they would if left in the shower floor. Ours stayed there until we left, though we only spent 2 days.

The room was great and the location was in the middle of all the things I wanted to do. Snorkeling at John Pennekamp was right down the road, grocery store and movies within a mile, drinks at RumRunners-Islamorada at the end of the day.
The condition of the outside of the buidling was a little rough. Pulling in I was undecided about staying, but once seeing the room it was a no-brainer. We stayed.

We stayed for 2 nights in a King Bed Water View room and it was perfect! Watching the sunrise each morning right outside our door was amazing. Plus, we loved the BBQ pit for family dinners and the convenience of free beach parking. The spot was awesome for paddle boarding and we even got to see some manatees nearby!

The pool was the highlight! Perfect. Location is spot on, but the check-in process was a bit chaotic. I enjoyed my stay 🌊
